On January 20, the Permanent Representatives of Armenia and Malawi to the United Nations Garen Nazarian and Bryan Bowler signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Being landlocked countries, Armenia and Malawi mutually agreed on the further intensification of the cooperation over the issues discussed in the frames of the UN, as well as the issues dedicated to sustainable development.

During the talk, followed the signing of the Joint Communiqué at the Permanent Mission of Armenia in New York, the Ambassadors stressed the importance of the promotion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
