Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Appointed Co-Facilitator for Intergovernmental Negotiations on the Political Declaration on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response

H.E. Mr. Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations, has been appointed as Co-Facilitator for the intergovernmental negotiations on the Political Declaration on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response (PPPR) by the President of the United Nations General Assembly.

Armenia has been actively contributing to international efforts aimed at strengthening awareness and resilience to achieve global health goals through enhanced international cooperation.

Highlighting that pandemics require timely and continued leadership, global solidarity and multilateral commitment, Armenia looks forward to further contributing to this important process, working closely with all interested partners to ensure a meaningful, action-oriented outcome that helps build a world better prepared to prevent and respond to future pandemics.
